10 is actually a good drawing. Like the guitar.

I have a guess for 8 but since I don't know many others I will wait.

Number 10 was a great movie!

I'm noticing a theme with this one. Lots of violence and some zombies.

I know all but 9 & 12.

I'm a huge movie buff. I've played Scene It where it was 15 people versus me and won. However, I only know three of the movies in this contest. 4 if not knowing which sequel number is ok.

And is that Chuck Norris in #6?

I'm either impressed or disturbed.

Or tired. I'm really tired today.

If you read the front page again, you'll see that he helped create this contest. So, no surprise that he knows so many of them.

It shouldn't be hard to recognize my art style from his.

He actually seems to try and carefully reproduce depictions of things, whereas I rarely erase a line.

Hey, I said "or tired."

I was right.

Yeah, I'm more of a realist, and Gordo's an impressionist.
I based most of mine on actual screencaps.

I've never looked up a screencap for something I want to draw... I think of a movie, then from memory draw something from it as obscure as possible without being impossible to solve.

I think #6 is the hardest.
A few more minutes into it, at the same location, it'd be one of the easiest.

I'm ending the contest this Saturday at midnight. The person who submits to me the most correct answers by then wins it all.

No one has submitted any guesses, yet.

1. Image Rocky IV - The Russians don't give Rocky training equipment, and monitor him at all times.

2. Image The Warriors - This is the leader of The Furies. Other costumed gangs included The (overlooked) Orphans, the Punks (in bib overalls and striped shirts), The Boppers (shiney purple vests), and The Hi-hats (mimes!!!!),

3. Image Laserblast - A couple claymation aliens kill a monster on earth and leave his stuff. Billy wears the stuff and turns into a monster. The aliens return and kill Billy. The end. I thik this film even made MST3k.

4. Image Pitch Black - Mace Windu and Evey... Uh... I mean Abu and Jack(ie) collect glowing grubs to fend off the beasts because "Looks clear" doesn't mean that it is clear.

5. Image Friday the 13th IV - Jason in a hospital morgue I believe.

6. Image American Ninja - Guerillas attack the motorcade that the General's daughter is in. Joe Armstrong (Heh!) uses ninja skills he didn't know he had (amnesia) fights them off. Shortly after this scene, the area is flooded with ninjas.

7. Image Jaws IV - This is the thingy they stuck on the shark that shocked it and lead to one of the lamest movie endings of all time.

8. Image Plan 9 From Outer Space - A classic everyone should be able to identify whether they've seen it or not.

9. V for Vendetta! Two different characters, at two different times, cook "Eggie in the Basket" for Evie, which consists of a hole cut in a slice of bread, an egg is dropped in, and it is fried up.

10. Image Better off Dead - Lane fantasized about this claymation burger while working at Pig Burger.

11. Image The Breakfast Club - Allison threw the lunch meat from her sandwich onto the statue in the library, before making the Capt'n Crunch & Pixie Stix sandwich.

12. War of the Worlds, with everyones most hated scientologist whackjob Tom Cruise. The scene where they hole up in a house in the burbs, a plane crashes outside and takes out half the neighborhood... but their van on the street (driveway?) is left untouched. A Festivus miracle.

The big wiener is Zetleft! He da man!

Thanks to Paul for supplying the majority of the images, this time. New baby is a major time and creativity suck.

Next movie contest should appear 2nd quarter. Cheers!
