I read or heard some time back that the Articles of Impeachment that were being drawn up against Richard Nixon only charged him with lying to the public.

I'm still blown away with the way he's portrayed (got a gut full of it after "Deepthroat" came out to make some money for his whinney grandkids).

Oh, something else to think about:

Remember Ken Starr, the independent counsel/special prosecutor who spent "all that money" just to "get Clinton?" Anybody know who gave us that special prosecutor statute, and why? Here's a hint: the who rhymes with "Dim-ocrats" and the why rhymes with "Water-bait."

Clinton's troubles are an object lesson in the maxim "never give the government a power you wouldn't want your worst enemy to exercise."

This is just a good quote from the article I linked by the Honorable Senator, Hillary Clinton:
WASHINGTON (AllPolitics, Jan. 27) -- First lady Hillary Rodham Clinton on Tuesday firmly denied allegations that her husband had an affair with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky. Mrs. Clinton blamed the sex allegations on a "a vast right-wing conspiracy" against President Bill Clinton.

Vast right wing conspiracy is seared... SEARED into her brain.

It's her answer to everything.

Chelsea: Mom, we're out of milk.

Hillary: Yes, dear, it's a vast right-wing conspiracy. I'll get some from the store this afternoon.
