Some people are pretty stupid.
And here's their king:

Federal holiday - Hey, I'm all for a new holiday. But come on, your employer is suposed to let you have time to vote. Alot of polls are open early and late to accomidate working folks. I went early and had no problem. Course I live in BFI.
Paper receipts!?! WTF is that going to do other than require new equipment (more $) and use up tape that could be used to keep the gas pump receipts running. I hate it when I have to go in and get a receipt. Sorta defeats the purpose of pay at the pump.
So thank you Democrats for finding another hair brained scheme to spend more of our money on a useless idea.
Don't get me wrong, voting is extremely important, but this bill won't help.

Sorry bud, but the Onion's article is dated Oct. 27th, yours is Nov 1st.
Actually, Scrappleface seems to have done it first...in July.
If you read the article I linked in my prior post it talks about Kerry's comments. Had there been even one actual reporter at his speech, we would have heard someone say: "Can we see one of these leaflets?"
