Shell ordered by court to cut emissions.
This is a really big deal. A court ruling that a massive corporation is doing damage to its community via pollution.
The article discusses how these kinds of cases should now explode everywhere.

China will more than make up for carbon emissions. I saw a stat that for every coal plant shut down somewhere in the world, China builds 10. Maybe an exaggeration, idk.

Ecosexuals.
Funny how they can't exactly get the Earth's consent, so isn't that rape?

This map is interesting because it doesn't seem to line up with the narrative we hear about people not believing in it. This map says the vast, vast majority of people are on board.

Mybe it's "most people think it'll be serious, but only 1/2 of those people want to do anything about it"

"People" can't change anything. "People" don't make a dent compared to what corporations/governments do. Putting the onus on individuals was a brilliant piece of propaganda that kept the focus off the factories spewing pollution.

Dancers to produce electricity.
This is actually cool, but reminds me a bit of S1Ep2 of Black Mirror.
Leaded gasoline goes the way of the dodo.
Plastic waste fills in for sand shortage.
Considering what we're learning about micropollution thanks to plastic, is this wise?

I wonder if it made the countries still using it dumber.

Charlie's mom makes a solid point, and it's further proof about how corporations try to gaslight into thinking we're the polluters, when they're the actual problem.
