Penny Arcade's hot topic today is about some mass bannings done by Sony and the player protest against it. Apparently Sony just did a mass banning of anyone who received duped money, no matter if they did the duping or if they just happened to get it via selling products or receiving a tip.

Players protested Sony claiming many players were banned without merit. Sony's fanastic response? "Break up this gathering or we'll shut down the server." Then they actually did.

Read about it.

Nice customer service Sony. Thank goodness that there isn't a way for your consumers to discuss this matter and spread the word about how you treat your paying customers...oh wait...

That is messed up. I was making a million a week off the anonymous auction system. Obviously I didn't know if the money was duped or not.
