PC Gamer mentioned that they were going to release a bombshell announcement next month. I'm betting that's it.

It was a picture of a computer monitor with a spash screen of "Command and Conquer: III" on it.

I remember when I was reading an article in PC Gamer (or something) about C&C2 and there was a spoiler in one of the pics... they showed a clay bust of Kane. That was supposed to be a big in-game surprise, since you thought you killed Kane in C&C1.
