With nothing else to fix in his state, governor Bill Richardson wants to pardon Billy the Kid.
Why?
I can't figure that part out. Where's the "win" for his constituents or even himself?
No matter what you thought of Billy the Kid, he absolutely killed people, including law enforcement officers, so why the pardon?
What am I missing here?
“Every record been destroyed or falsified, books rewritten, pictures repainted, statues, street building renamed, every date altered. The process is continuing day by day. History stops. Nothing exists except endless present in which the Party is right.”
Diogenes of Sinope: "It is not that I am mad, it is only that my head is different from yours."
Arnold Judas Rimmer, BSC, SSC: "Better dead than smeg."
And we were promised a country where we can speak freely, bear arms, and speedy due process. How come the majority is disappointed and the promises made to criminals are honored?
I'm just saying.
How come the majority is disappointed and the promises made to criminals are honored?
