Jesus. Apple poaches the talent from startups, launches litigation to invalidate existing patents, copies them, and then makes this statement:

What a bargain! I'm going to buy one for every family member and even one for the dog!

I think the original perception was "Apple slows down old things on purpose to make you buy new things."
But the reality is that they don't do that... but they do this:

Not sure I give a fuck about the replaceable battery issue, but then again I'm not buying my own phones currently.
Also, I will never forget that the EU is forcing all manufacturers to adopt USB-C and end the proprietary connector bullshit. Yay!
