Do not enable thumb print authentication.

I don't have fingerprints. The Marines weren't sure what to do about that.

We had a thumb scanner time clock so it could track when folks were on site or off site. Safety and whatnot.

The shit didn't work. People would be standing there trying every angle to get it to read their thumb.

Same shit when I put a fingerprint scanner on my server room door. I ended up using the code all the time and eventually replaced it.

Gateway had a hand scanner to get into the coder area. Didn't work for shit. We'd enter in our buddy's employee ID and then scan our own hand and it would work.

Mine was 27819. One of my buddies was employee #7.

I was just about to post how happy I've been with my almost 2 year old Nexus 5.

Then I saw the Moto X Pure... and I want a new phone suddenly.

The default android browser is the worst piece of shit software I've ever had misfortune to use. Slow, unresponsive, crashes way too often, and generally indicative of shitty programming and engineering. I was so pissed at one point, I think I punched the screen hard enough to put a small crack in it. The fucktard who wrote the component that renders HTML elements should be fucking executed, revived, then killed again. Nothing says "professional" like randomly shifting buttons and links on a page over the course of 10 seconds while you long for the days of Netscape Navigator and 28.8 kbps until you can actually fucking interact with a site. I should not have time to wax nostalgic while basic fucking goddamn HTML loads.

Have Android phone, no idea what you're talking about, it's super fast.

The NFL and NHL pages take so fucking long, I could literally call people on the phone and ask for the scores faster.

I think it is the ads. In my experience they are defeating adblockers on the PC, now, and they've always been horrible on my phones because I don't know how to install plugins.

Even ad-free pages have noticeable lag. It's like late '90s UO on dialup.

I always thought 3G "broadband" was bullshit. That stuff truly was 56k dialup. 4G was much better, I notice the hardware limitations more than the bandwidth limitations.

What in the fuck? 4G? How do you not have LTE?

And I agree with Gordon on 3G.

FYI, did you all know 2G was just retired by AT&T this month? I expect 3G to meet the same fate in the next year.

It is LTE.
