Article.

When the guy starts talking about doubting that's the controller due to it not being a motion controller, please note that it IS the official concept controller of the system.

Besides, I think being purely a motion machine put the Wii behind the 8 ball. It only appealed to casual gamers, and their attention span is limited. Now that the other consoles have that gimmick (with Microsoft's being the best by a mile) it seems to me that it'd be smarter to either bow out and focus on games again, or do motion in a separately sold peripheral.

When I finally got a Wii I was surprised at how limited it was, and really was just a one trick pony with the motion controllers.

Low res graphics.

No 5.1 sound output.

No LAN port.

It can't even play DVDs.

The Wii is underpowered, and it sounds like they're going to give it real hardware this time. Improving the motion control would be key. And as far as the touch screen controller they're talking about, wtf?

Motion controlling is the only thing that made the Wii relevant in any way.
