Who will the cultists turn to?

It seems logical, but I'm not sure they'll abandon what brought them to the dance. What happens if the iPod market falls out?

I mean, an iPod is $300 and knockoffs are much cheaper. Plus, once you have one, why do you need a new one? The video feature is cool, but who really needs it until it we start using it for news, weather, and sports? On top of all that, cell phone companies are already doing video and now they're doing music.

Wow. They're moving to Intel chips?

Guess the only difference in the PC and Mac will soon be that cool one-button mouse.

Well, they'll still have the OS and hardware rigidity that makes their OS more stable/easier to upgrade. If only you could do more with it.

Well, the title of that article is misleading. Of course they're going to ride the iPod as much as they can, but they will still make their crappy, crappy Macs.

They also have extremely limited backwards compatibility in their software.

I always thought that was stupid.

Well, when you've only got 5 programs that run on your OS, how hard is upgraing?
