I saw Gordo's post about hitting the Dark Knights and wanted to respond here so the other peeps wouldn't think anyone is dissenting or anything.

Hitting the DKs is ok with me. I'm ready for them despite there being two DK castles near me. I'm higher than both and working feverishly to capture a nearby city (which would give me 4).

However, that's just me. Before hitting a guild of that size we should really do a few things:
-Check with everyone to ensure they're ready for the counter attacks.
-Find out who the DKs are allied with.
-Create our own alliances.

Guilds would always dissolve in Evony because they weren't ready for war and a more organized guild would pick them apart. Alliances between guilds was also a big factor. You'd declare war on one guild, and then 6 others would declare on you.

I'm not sure if those rules apply here at this point, but I'm pointing them out anyway.

That being said, there's a guy above me with a score of 804 who just turned his city into a castle. He's with the Dark_Red guild. They have 17 members. I'd say they could be a candidate.

And for those of you who are going to be our diplomats, please remember to offer membership to their best players. That's the best way to grow our guild. In Evony, we'd receive emails stating that we can "join or die", although in a very polite tone.

I'd vote that we do that to a few smaller guilds and gobble up their best players. Then we go after someone like the DKs. Make sure we're ready for that battle...

The answer I was looking for was, "Blood."

Yeah, I couldn't remember the line.

My point is that it might not be their blood feeding the grass. I'm just trying to help set strategy so it isn't our blood...

You don't say "Be careful" to departing warriors, you say, "Good hunting."

Unless your name is Patton, you're not sending warriors into certain death. You typically want to give them a chance at success.

GORDON doesn't say "You may have a point" to those urging caution and planning, he says "LEEEEEEEEERRRRROOYYYY Jenkins!"

Gordon's always out of bubblegum.

All of what you said is why I have the politics forum on the lou message board. We are working on establishing an alliance with the raiders. But ONLY if they are ready to attack. If not, then they are no good to us. I will tolerate NO freeloaders! Same with our own guild. If people are in TKV for the protection, not to participate, then we don't need them. Give us resources, or give us troops. Otherwise, join a different alliance. That's my opinion anyway.
