Anyone know where I can get this? Trying to load an ooooold laptop with Win95 (Win98 wouldn't work), and it has IE3.0. Windows Update doesn't work, and IE6 requires 98 or higher. Anyone got, or know where I can get, an IE version that will work on 95?

Was able to google this, if your machine is raped by it don't blame the messenger
http://www.winplanet.com/file/11712.htm
Found this too, has alot of different versions on it and includes the full downloads not just installers that download the rest. Probably find what you want here.

Neat site. . . have you ever dl'ed anything from Planetmirror?
And thanks for looking. After looking on Microsoft's site for a long time, then trying to get Netscape 4.79 to work right. . . I was giving up and obviously going in the wrong direction.

I havn't downloaded from planetmirror but it seems some anounumous people on the internet says its cool.... which means nothing to me but hell its a old win95 machine anyway
No problem, and yeah microsoft's only mention of 5.5 goes to product lifecycle bullshit and saying they only support back to winme service packs and anything earlier you are screwed.

You can download just about any IE version here:

I used to load IE 4.1 on old 95 machines, because IE 5.0/1 caused problems. If I were you I'd try putting IE 5.5 on.
