Just bought my ticket for September 22nd at Saint Andrews Hall, Detroit, MI. Looking at it in maps... yeah, shitty part of town. Gonna be awesome.

Now that I've listened to a lot of Annika's other stuff, it's funny that her best work is alongside Devin.

Girlfriend bought us tickets to the Devin Townsend concert in Michigan next month, and I upgraded us to the VIP package. My kid says Devin is his fave musician, and he has no idea we'll be meeting him next month. Going to be an amazing surprise.

1. My ass is still a little chapped about missing the concert by 36 hours. I don't think I'll be getting the $300 refunded, because it was declared "postponed" and not cancelled.

2. Devin Townsend went on the record asking for GoFundMe donations two days ago, because he said you "can't exactly get insurance for pandemic cancellations." This sounds very incorrect to me, it seems like insurance in case of a cancelled tour, for whatever reason, would be standard so you don't get financially wiped out in case of a bus crash that takes out your stage crew, or something. But apparently he's wiped out, and asking for money.
