New album.
Their last album, LIFE IS KILLING ME, I wasn't too hot about. It had one or two good tracks, but most of it seemed to hearken to their first album, in an attempt to go "old school," which to me always meant "we didn't know how to play our instruments very well, then."
But this album...
They've done a lot of returning to their OCTOBER RUST roots. It's heavy and complex and lyrical.
There are a couple instant classics on this album, "September Sun" comes to mind.
If you like metal, this album is a must-listen.

Video for "September Sun."

Somewhat abridged for length, which hurts the epicness of it, but still a great song.

I'm REALLY digging that song. I think I've almost achieved sexual gratification listening to it.

There's a hole in the middle of the CD for a reason, V.

I've had October Rust for a few years. That was the one that popped my cherry on them.
Heheh... I read where he didn't realize more gay men looked at playgirl than women until afterwards. That was supposed to be where the song "I Like Gois" came from.

I must've gotten a bad version of it because I thought it was forgettable at best.
Doesn't the lead singer look like Kris Kristopherson only younger and uglier?

Okay, I've decided "September Sun" is a companion song to "Love You to Death". They're even similar in how the pieces are laid out.
LYtD is the guy committing himself to the woman, body and soul.
Within a short amount of time things go to hell quickly (due to women being evil succubi) and he's devestated.
Fast forward 10 years ("Ten years amassed Para toda mi vida?") and he's still really fucked up over her.
"September Sun" uses the phrase "October Rust" which of course is the album that had LYtD. Roughly 10 years (11) passed between the release of "October Rust" and "Dead Again".
And women are evil succubi.
