I was playing tag with my kids and pulled my groin last night. It hurts like a mother fucker.

Sex with a pulled groin is painful.

I'm down a few pounds without trying. Just altered my diet a bit (less snacking or healthier choices) and walking a couple miles with the wife each day/night.

I'm basically flat for quarantine... which is apparently better than a lot of people. I saw one of our neighbors and she must have gained 15 to 20 lbs in quarantine alone.

Did her husband's dick do that to her or Twinkies?

I can't swim, pool's closed. Can't run. Riding the bike hurts my ass. So my lack of cardio is what's hurting me, both because I'm not burning the calories, but because I'm not sleeping as well and that's affecting my life overall. SO might as well eat!

Are you mocking her or stating your own issues? Serious question because I have some ideas for you if you need them.

No, I'm feeling her pain. I'm 48 years old, swimming miles a week was keeping my energy levels high. Feeling pretty blah, now in month 2 of WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE.

Going on a long hike once a week, but that just doesn't really get my heart rate up. And I can ride a bike until my ass hurts, but i wont be tired, and again.... not a great workout.

The wife and I started a new thing where we walk the dog for about 45-60 minutes. We've been doing it the summer, and I'm down 10 pounds without even trying.

I can't wait for Fall to come back. It turns out I hate being outside in summer, unless I'm in a pool or ocean.

Summer is the absolute worst. I don't mind the heat, but the humidity can go fuck itself.

Sigh.
I altered my eating habits slightly, I'm eating take out like it's my job, added the nightly 45 minute walk, and I'm still dropping pounds.

I'm currently comfortably wearing a pair of jeans that were too tight to wear a few months back. I'm also down a notch on the belt.

I've dropped the "extra item" I'll get with a meal. My "food pantry" at work is empty and isn't being refilled. I have dramatically cut down on beer during golf season. (I'm also now golfing much better, which I'm certain is not related. :D )

I eat a very small breakfast, then a light lunch (salad, fatoosh, a wrap, etc.), for dinner I have whatever my wife makes with no second helping, and if I snack between 10-11 it's a piece of fruit (clementine, apple, raisins).

It's working.

I'm pondering going vegetarian. My cholesterol numbers on keto were shit. Not on keto they are shit. And yes, I was doing the LDL-P ones (particle size), not the basic ones. So... I'm going to give this about 3 months and see what the #s look like. The hard part for me is avoiding refined grains. Which are super convenient. And I don't like a ton of veggies.
