So over the weekend I logged on to train a skill at the beach, and decided to do a quick dread search at a nearby belt.
I strike gold in my little encounter, hitting a Dread Guristas Ballistic Control unit. My first real big money item, in the 170-200m range. Yeah, pretty big deal.
Anyway, I take it back to Torr today under heavy escort, right as I am about to hop over, I randomly decided to look and see if any were for sale in Pure Blind.
Normally, you can't check if faction items are up for sale, because they don't show up in the main item database, or something. This is why people use escrow. However, if you have one of the faction items you are looking for, you can check and see if someone accidently put one up. If you accidently put a faction item up on the market, I'm not even sure you can get it back until the timer runs out, as you can't even view your own sale.
Anyway, to my suprise, there was one for sale, and to my further suprise it was priced at 50-60m less than even the quote I got from the reseller I usually deal with to get me money asap.
I scooped it up, sold the old one, made a few jumps back into pure blind for the second, and sold it just as quickly.
Net result was about 185 + 60m profit on the resell .
Not a bad hour, if I do say so myself.
