Taz,

After today's, uh, stupidity by me, I sent one of my alts to ROIR. He's there with a gate check at 200km, a safe spot and an instadock at one of the bases there.

I'm free most nights this week, maybe we can head back out there some night.

I had been to ROIR a few times, it's normally a bastion for the local alliances, and is safe. At the same time, when enemies want to go look for a fight, that's where they go to look for one.

That's why E.R.A. hit it, I suppose. Just bad timing on our part. Would have prolly been better to wait till we knew about their fleet movement. Soon as we saw the tackling frig show up at the J-C gate we should have safespotted, but hey, shit happens.

Looks like you got a replacement ship pretty fast, so hopefully not too bad of a loss.

If it makes you feel better, I exploded in my Ferox later tonight, after getting called primary in a fleet battle.

Sometimes, I wonder why I gang with the locals, tardos the whole lot of them, that and the gang REALLY Needed Agetha, but I couldn't get to her cause of the "character transfer isn't useable till after downtime", thing.

Well, the only real loss was my 3 arbs. I already had spare XTs, and was able to replace everything with only a net loss (including insurance) of about 80mil. Still have 282mil, plus a 25.5mil buy order on arbs at Torr which I can cancel if needed.

Fortunately, most of my stuff blew up when they killed me, so they didnt loot much. :)

So how does one avoid those warp disruption fields? I guess in a BS MWDs aren't much of an option.

You can blow up the field emitter. I seem to remember them not having too many hitpoints.

I didn't think you could actually blow up a field once it had been placed, a Bubble, yeah, but a Interdictor sphere, no.

THe only defense against those is to blow up the super fragile interdictors before they launch them.

The inderdictors are pretty much CCP's solution to everyone whining about how overpowered WCS are .

FYI -

Fade has Serpentis as the asteroid rats.

Deklein is NBSI if you're not NFC/D2/Razor. Although the two peeps I've run across have been friendly.
