So a lot of highway/interstate construction is paid for by gas taxes, right?

Does that mean electric vehicles get a free ride?

Till they come up w\ new taxes or just drop gasoline tax onto electricity.

I have a friend that builds bridges and overpasses here in Ohio. They just picked up alot of stimuus money to rebuild or replace a bunch. They have to put 4x8 billboards to advertise that stimulus money is doing the project. These 4x8 pieces of plywood cost 5k. They found someone in Kentucky to build them for 2,500$. Inspectors said it had the wrong grade of reflective tape on them use the people we told you to use. Never ends does it.

Yeah, it's not like they'd spend hundreds of dollars on hammers or toilet seats.
