Blizzard coming down hard on cheaters.
On his fourth attempt, he purged his PC, changing hard drive IDs, MAC address, BiosDate and buying a VPN to throw Blizzard's anticheat off. It didn't work.

They even went so far as to publicly shame and post the names of the people they banned in China:

So what's the false positive rate on their detection? Think anyone will sue?

The real trick is deanonymyzing people based on hardware, IP, MAC addy, etc. Once you do that, I bet finding acts of cheating isn't that bad.

There's a Twitter feed that only updates with the names of people banned for cheating in Rust.

Back from Hawaii. Which was amazing - I'll do a mini post and share a few pics.

Anyway - planning to Overwatch it up tonight/this week. Even early gaming will be relatively late for most of you, though.

Hah.
The game is called Legend of Titan , but if you thought it was the class project of a high school student trying to recode Overwatch from scratch, I wouldn’t blame you for the mistake.

Check your stats and ranking here

Damn TPR, Level 55 already! I'm only level 28 right now.

Look for competitive/ranked mode to come very soon, I'm guessing next week. This will make the matches actually mean something and getting teams together will really help.

This game is really fun. Everyone should play. It gets a couple hours a night from me regularly.

It's easy to jump in friend's games, as well. Theoretically it would be easy to stack the deck and have a 4-5 man crew wrecking randoms. There are still a lot of bad players.

I got Cat to play a few games last night. She was horrible. She figured out how to hold the shield right on the big tank, but kept looking at the floor and not up at hostiles.

I agree with this statement.. If you're not on the Overwatch train you need to be.

And once ranked mode starts the games will actually mean something when you win or lose.

I think it's time I started customizing controls for every character. For example putting either the SHIFT dash or E rewind on the right-click for Tracer, switching M1 and M2 for Zarya, putting in melee in place of right-click for certain heroes...

I don't really like support classes, but I kind of like playing Lucio. His gun is surprisingly powerful and you can do some cool things with the speed boost.

BUT, unless you are amazing with his gun and ultimate(the gun's knock-back is good to get a healer off a tank, or to throw a dude off a ledge), I don't know if he's strictly better than Mercy. Her Resurrect is OP as fuck sometimes.

This is one of the first things I did. I don't like using the Shift, Q or melee keys in this game, especially in the heat of battle. I switched Q to the R button because this is the ULT in League of Legends and it just feels right there. I moved reload to Q since its used much less and usually out of battle.

Shift and melee each got assigned to some extra mouse buttons that are right where my thumb rests. These buttons are some of my favorite for games, I always have problems hitting the numbers or C and V with accuracy when playing an FPS.

Other than that I think I only changed a setting on Lucio where his shift becomes a toggle rather than switching back and forth between heal and speed boost.

Mercy is better if you stay active and switch heal targets a lot. But I like Lucio since it's more just stay in range and then you can shoot stuff. Plus that push-back is hella fun on the right maps.

But my favorite thing for map damage is still hooking across the Well with Roadhog on Ilios. Stupid fun.

Lucio is my go to support. Ever have a team with two Lucio's? if your team stays together your damn near unstoppable..

Unless the other team goes Zarya ult into a Junkrat ult. GOODNIGHT!

Also I killed three ppl by knocking them into the "300" well and didn't get potg. Booooo
