Mom was white, so follows mom. At least, in our state it does on your birth certificate. Though, may vary by county? I dunno.

Perhaps it does depend on county, state, etc.

What will be really telling is who plays the SWF. Taylor has some photos out there where she's much darker than the one here.

But again, nothing wrong with SF or SBF or SLF. It can still be a remake without the same title.
