Best Star Trek film in forever. Not a junk throwaway either. Lots of money went into this and Shatner was involved.

It was high quality.... but one does grow weary with communication solely through deep, lingering, meaningful glances.

What could they possibly say? I liked the muteness of Kirk's walk into death.

We've just never seen Kirk/Shatner with nothing to say.

I thought the voiceovers covered it well.

I was also thinking about how modern writers just don't know how to develop relationships anymore. Will we ever seen another friendship like Kirk and Spock?
