Honestly, fuck the loggers for encroaching on their territory. Can we leave some things alone? These are the moments where I abhor corporations.

That aside and going back to a discussion from another thread:
Europeans didn't show up to "set them back hundreds of years", so...where are their cell phones, sophisticated farming techniques, infrastructure, etc.?

Or are the Mashco Piro a bad example?

If we sent two identical groups of humans (number, sex, races, skills, etc.) to two identical planets and then visited them again in 1000 years, would the results be similar? I wouldn't expect them to be identical, but similar.

If so, what happened to the Mashco Piro? Is this a Neanderthal situation? Are they South American versions of the Amish?
