Top down isometric beat 'em up best played with a controller.
The story is pretty nonsensical casting you as a sleeper agent for a criminal overlord. Unfortunately for him, you're aimed his direction. You travel through the city on your way to confront him and encounter loads of different gangs along the way.
In addition to standard fighting, there are also a couple of vehicle levels that aren't bad, but nowhere near as satisfying as the fighting. And the fighting does feel really good. Remember the fighting in the Arkham Knight series? It's similar.
There's also about a hundred weapons. Like bottles you can throw or break over someone's head. Clubs, knives, guns, fish, etc. They all wear out too, so you can't wield one for too long.
Each level is scored based on your style (kill multiple ways), time, did you die, etc.
I easily beat it in a few hours, but would absolutely play a sequel.
