I forced my way through 25 minutes, then gave up. Horrible. CGI is pretty bad, but worse, is the writing. The foreshadowing is VERY obvious. But then, I know what's coming, so maybe it's forgivable? But they pretty much drop hints about all the stuff they are going to use after the invasion starts at the beginning of the movie. As in, low tech walkie talkies, etc. I gave up when they tried to call their parents. Each one put there cellphones to their ears to see if they had a signal. I guess they were looking for a dial tone? That was the straw. There were a TON of other really stupid things that happened. Not going to bother going into them. Just dumb. Very dumb writing. I'm not going to point out the bad acting, because it may not have been their fault. The director may have been telling them to act like idiots while they deliver the shitty lines.
Just bad. Very bad.
