And he's not bitter about it, the way Biff from Back the the Future got.

Dude owns it. I've got loads of respect for him.

You'll enjoy this a lot more if you go in with the understanding that this is all about nostalgia and fan service.

Loads of cameos from the world of golf. It's almost a who's who of the biggest names now and from the past. No Tiger though.

Call backs to almost every joke and every person in the original. Loads of Sandler cameos, not Adam, but his kin. All of the usual Sandler cast shows up.

It's the same low brow humor wrapped up in a shitton of nods to the fans. It's fun despite the last 30 minutes, which is pretty stupid. Still has chuckles, but it's about as dumb as it gets.

Never saw the first, so I'll pass here, too.

The first is an all time comedy classic that gets quoted on golf courses almost as much as Caddyshack.

Sandler in his prime goofiness, and somehow, more realistic than the sequel.

You don't need to know golf to enjoy HG. Although, you need to know it to get most of the cameos in HG2. There's a lot of inside baseball in that one.
