Eli Roth film, so expect gore.

A Black Friday incident is what sets this movie's story in motion. From there the story is fast moving and tight enough to maintain interest. The cast is large and so many people have motive that it makes guessing the killer a bit tougher than normal.

There are logic holes and "magic" that helps everything go perfectly for a killer who can seemingly be in multiple places at just the right time, but it's fine and won't hurt your immersion too much. Also, they take "people would never do this" to a whole new level.

The most jarring part is that opening which doesn't really convey the chaos they were going for and features some horrific acting. Although, it gave me the biggest laugh as my horror loving daughter said, "This is so unrealistic." Why was that funny? She wasn't alive to see the Black Friday incidents that happened pre-internet.

Overall, a fun horror film with bad acting, but more enjoyable than expected.
