Well, the first two and last two are proof that there is no God.

I'll fight you over “Dominick the Donkey”.

It was used at our zoo's lights one year for the trees whose lights "dance" to music. I do a pretty good donkey impression...I do not remember why, something from my oldest's childhood. So we have a good memory from that song.

"12 Beers of Christmas" is the most underappreciated X-Mas song.

Good news. The article is still relevant here in the future. They just changed the title to "The Most Underrated Christmas Songs".

Well, that would be ridiculous.

Standing at my desk listening to X-Mas music (tis the season) and Christmas Bells comes on.

Peter Griffin has ruined that song for me.

-------------------------------------------------------------

The singer/group with the best overall body of work in the Christmas song genre is Johnny Mathis. Who is 2 and 3? Mariah Carey? TSO? Michael Buble? Nat King Cole?

Criteria:
-Can't be a one hit wonder. You must have multiple hit songs in rotation during the season.
-Your songs have to be considered "legit Christmas music".
-Dean Martin is automatically eliminated for calling Rudolph "Rudy", which irrationally infuriates me. I cannot explain it.
-Family Guy can't have a scene showing how you mercilessly beat your family routinely.

He does have a few and should be in consideration. Andy Williams too.

And one popular Hanukah song.

As for them being on top of the list, when they go on tour as a people we'll add them. Until then, they can go stand on the sidelines with Dean Martin.

Me, early November: I'll buy some advent calendars for Xmas for family + friends.

Vendor: OK! They'll be there right after Thanksgiving.

(waits... Monday after Thanksgiving)

Vendor: We're a little behind, we'll add an extra gift to all orders, and send you shipping information tomorrow!

(waits... two weeks, cuz honestly I forgot about them)

Vendor: (silence)

Me: Cancel order

Vendor: Canceled!

Me: Uh, where's refund?

Vendor: (silence)

Me: Time to visit the credit card dispute page....

yyaaayyy.

I had to cancel a gift through Amazon that was ordered weeks ago and promised to arrive prior to X-Mas with a lot of time to spare. Now it's estimated to arrive the 27th.

I was listening to Bing Crosby just now and realized he's eliminated for being an abusive monster.
