Let's keep an eye on this one.
I'm not discounting it because they're being safe-ish by still allowing cops to be nearby. I'm more concerned about the person not being allowed to carry anything to defend themselves.
Just feels like we should still be working on a way to safely disable someone, and then get them the help they need once there's no threat.
Also, the lady's report isn't really accurate. It's not ALL of Seattle. They're trialing it with 6 people.
