So scanning Yahoo today I saw a headline about Jesse James cheating on his wife (maybe GF...I don't know) and she's preggers or something. I kind of recognized the name so I googled her. She's fucking hot.

However, (and I know Catt's going to amen this) if you deface perfection, which is what the female body is, it screams "ISSUES!!!!!!".

Maybe it was seeing some shit when she was young, an uncle visiting her late at night, or something else, but that girl is damaged.

I get that some tattoos have real meaning. People get faces or names of loved ones. Perhaps there's some symbol that holds genuine meaning in your life and you get a tattoo to remind you. Those things make sense.

However, spider webs on your tits doesn't hold some sacred meaning. It's, literally, you subconsciously trying to hide your insecurities and hatred of self. A person covering themselves with tattoos like that might as well just put on a burka.

I tend to think they're unattractive and indicative of decently sized issues, which is also unattractive.

One of my own truisms in relationships I've discovered is, "Insecurity is not attractive."

Long term.

And you don't want to be olde fashioned 1950s misogynist, but girls raised without a (good) father seem to be really damned insecure (and make poor decisions IN EVERY WAY when it comes to male interaction). Which supports the argument that women shouldn't be having babies out of a traditional man/woman relationship, because it's producing fucked up daughters. But that's insane.

I'd also argue there can be a problem with males raised by women. Look at France, post WW1. They lost a big percentage of their men in the war, and now look how they're perceived.

So..... tats don't PROVE anything, but they certainly are compelling.

"Just because you can raise a child without a man doesn't mean it's to be done!" (or something like that) - Chris Rock

Countless studies have not only proven that children are FAR better off with both mom and dad, but that they also greatly benefit from a parent being home. Meanwhile, something like 60-70% of kids raised by single moms end up abusing drugs and/or in prison. (I forget the actual number, but I know it was over 50%.)

Listen, it doesn't have to be mom that stays home. It can be dad. This is not some "women belong in the kitchen" horseshit.

The wheels started falling off when our government sat back and did nothing as single income households became less achievable. Remote work may steer us back a bit, but the stay home parent needs to be interactive with the child, not in the other room all day.

I've often wondered at the younger generation's love of ink.

Just now I thought of a new thing.... do you think they get tattoos because they are no longer gathering actual scars of real life experiences? A dude with a full sleeve of whatever gives the impression "he's been around," but in reality all it means for sure is that he had plenty of disposable income along the way. On a woman it always suggests, to me, "Hey look at my ink but not at me, because I never had a good support network when developing and now I hate myself."

Whereas I have actually done lots of things, mostly dangerous, and carry a few scars. And I've never felt the need to decorate my skin in order to '"express myself," or whatever.

So that's my current ponder. People outgrow XBox achievements, and begin to collect ink as a substitute for life experience.

Not a bad theory, but when I see tats on a chick I immediately think damaged goods.
