French Fry Log

I'm making this list because I can never remember places with good/bad fries. I hate batter dipped. I will go out of my way to avoid them. So here's a logbook.
American Table - Like double batter dipped. Puke.
Bar Louie - Batter dripped. Tots are an option. Were open Christmas, though.
BJ's Brew House - chain - batter dipped. Gross.
Frickers - local chain. Has good crinkle fries. Also a couple other formats, but also genetically pure crinkle fries.
Good Times Bar and Grill - Excellent, thick hand-cut fries.
Hop Cat - Batter dipped. "Most people say the fries are why they come here." Fucking hipsters.
Lucky's - Batter dipped. Have tots as an alternative.
Manhattan Pub n' Cheer - decent hand-cuts. Draft list is IPA heavy. Yuck.
Maumee Bay Brewing Company - Loud, mediocre, and waffle fries. Plus don't forget that time they stiffed us on a reservation.
Nick's Cafe on Reynolds - Good hand-cuts, large portions.
Star Diner - they look like fresh-cut, but I don't think they are. Petty sure they came out of a bag. Were also soggy. When I go to a diner I want crispy frozen steak fries.... not those neglected things.
Texas Roadhouse - Good steak fries.
Twin Peaks - the location in Toledo has transitioned from girls in daisy duke shorts and tight t-shirts, to literal lingerie with garters. Also the thin fries are seasoned. Not great. Maybe ask them to not season next time?
Ye Olde Dirty Burd - Toledo - Good steak fries, decent beer list, tight parking.
Village Inn - Sylvania - Like 4 varieties, not all batter dipped, plus tots. Good smash burg, too.
