Old man blames kids and their new fangled technology for it bombing.

Let's be fair, he's probably not completely wrong. However, I'm sure there's more factors, such as covid, high prices at the theater compared to waiting a few months and streaming it, people being distracted by other things, gaming already having surpassed movies as the #1 form of entertainment, period pieces never being big box office hits, and so on.

Also, he raves about Disney's promotion, but I swear I only ever saw a single trailer for it and that was on YouTube.

It's a rape trial except in 1300s France when a rape wasn't a crime against a woman, it was a crime against the property of the man who owned her.

If I had known that, I wouldn't have watched. I don't really care from crime dramas, no matter when they are set.
