This is a magic vs steampunk show on Netflix. Kinda Fantasy in the Napoleon era.
Based on a few series of books by the same author.
The first season of the show is surprisingly decent, I watched it all fast.
The books aren't as good, I didn't finish the first one before moving on to another author. Too young adulty. It's possible I picked the wrong book.
From what I've gathered the show is a darker combination of the "best-of" from all the author's work. A lot of the new show material is better than what is in the books.
As books go, The Lies of Locke Lamora is better.
