Currently on Netflix until the end of February.

A destitute man goes on a mission of revenge and endangers his family in the process.

This is a gritty drama featuring a man who has no fucking clue what he's doing. It's pretty cool in that regard, and almost like a comedy, but in no way is this played for humor. This isn't Liam Neeson happening to be a former SEAL or anything like that. This guy doesn't know how to shoot, makes mistakes, can't fight, isn't physically imposing, etc.

Macon Blair is excellent as the lead and is the only familiar face, but you won't place where you've seen him before. I didn't recognize anyone else in the movie.

I actually got that anxious feeling watching him go about dealing with this situation, but poorly. It's so realistic in capturing that "in the moment" panic that people get and why they're so easily caught.

An underappreciated gem.
