There used to actually be laws against wearing masks that disguised your face, in public. I can't remember the context, only that it had something to do with crime, and I wondered about it when the mask mandate began.

The type of people who don't want to take the vaccine because of the low risk of Covid death for the healthy don't see the irony in getting super motivated by a tiny chance of a lottery win. It's... beautiful.

Fair, but would Satan be behind alcohol? Meth? Crack? Coke? LSD? Marijuana? Etc?

How about socialism and communism? Those things have killed far more people than Covid.

There's another The Conjuring movie coming out, where the couple is helping defend a kid who did murders "because the devil made me do it." And there's been an audio clip attached to it that caught my attention:

"Courts have been making people swear on a bible and affirm to the existence of god for centuries. It's time they also acknowledge satan."

It's an interesting point.

1) You can swear on a bible, but no one makes you do it, actually.

The problem is , most people who don't "believe" in science don't even have a basic understanding of the scientific method. It's all a big, black hole to them. "God" is simple , in that situation.

The pandemic might not be "over", but it's being treated as such most places. Masks are worn less and less after people having to wear them for over a year.

So the timing of this...

Maybe one size fits all masks are incorrect?

So you identify an area where people should wear masks, and half the people are assholes, so it doesn't matter.
