Former FDA head says vaccination plan isn't working.
So you don't have to read that intentionally misleading headline: He's just saying we need to get it out faster.

I recently played this game, which was written well before 2020, and it was about a medical discovery that was a cure all. It was a vaccine that not only cured cancer, lupus, and some other things, but made you immune to those things. One country, Brazil, had the key ingredients within their borders and refused to share it with the world. Instead they were charging other countries insane prices to get it. Meanwhile, they were giving it away free to their own citizens. Their economy skyrocketed and they became a superpower.
Then the other shoe dropped as a new illness spread rapidly throughout their country. It killed 150M and devastated their economy. It was the aftereffects of the vaccine. They had rushed it to market without testing it properly for side effects.

WHO worried that vaccines aren't being distributed "fairly".
This WHO official must not fly a lot. "Put on your own oxygen mask before helping others."
Last time I checked the U.S. was the hardest hit. Wouldn't it make sense for the U.S. to exclusively distribute the vaccine here to get it under control and then help others?

One of my young daughter's friends (10 years old) had a brain bleeding incident/seizure back in March. The doctors at Duke believe she may have had covid which caused the bleeding, as they are seeing several cases/incidents of such in children since.

Yesterday afternoon my wife calls, "[Our oldest] just said she can't smell or taste anything."
They went to get the test and she's positive. My wife was negative, but now the whole family is in quarantine for 10 days.
My daughter has no other symptoms, and is quarantining in her room away from everyone else. Being 16, she has spent, what feels like, weeks in there without ever coming out. However, now being forced to be in there, in one hour we get her calling saying, "I'm bored." Fucking kids!

It is, but we always know she's alive because we hear her talking to her friends in their group facetime. Another thing with kids is that every thing is at full volume all the time.

I can't get my kid to not use headphones for everything. Bought him a great PC speaker system.... he uses headphones.

That article is dated because there's been more movement today, but CNN doesn't seem to be covering the story very well.
School board wants kids back in school. Teachers, who aren't being given the vaccine, are asking why they should risk their health when there's remote learning in place. They refuse to return to work. School board responds by saying they are going to turn off the remote learning system. Teachers respond by voting to all quit if the school board does that.
Everyone keeps talking about getting kids back to school because "covid isn't as dangerous for them", but nobody is talking about the adults who work in those schools and their risk.
You want to see a legit leader? Find a politician who has refused to get the vaccine because other people are more essential and are at greater risk of exposure.
