Coincidence that you post in this thread today as I was considering a post here last night. Here's the jist:
I was thinking how rough it must be to be a woman in today's society. Nobody is allowed to hit on you unless you expressly allow it. You get everything in a divorce. Being a gold digger is a legit career choice. You never have to buy a drink. You're considered a minority and oppressed class of citizen for some reason. Every sitcom and advertisement showcases how amazing you are and makes your male counterpart out to be a bumbling idiot. If you need money you can just open a FansOnly account. Men are expected to treat you as equals, except when approaching a door, when the bill arrives, the ship is sinking, if there's danger around, and so on. You can get laid at will. If you cheat it's empowering and probably your spouse's fault. If anyone criticizes you they're a misogynist. It's socially unacceptable to hit you. You can get knocked up and abort it without the father's consent. You can get knocked up and have it without the father's consent and then make him pay for it.

I could continue this list for some time...

I really feel bad for women and think we should start a charity to help them overcome all these obstacles in their lives.

So Keira Knightly is sexist against men, and for some reason it's being celebrated.

A person can have beliefs, and I fully understand where hers are coming from, but that doesn't mean they aren't bigoted and sexist.

One of my favorite things right now (because I like watching the world burn) is the use of the word "simp".

Blatant misogyny and hypocrisy in play and none of the people using it seem to realize.

When it started getting used, it was fine. A perfect description of the kind of guys who subscribe to a lady's Twitch stream, TikTok, OnlyFans, etc. and then send that female host gifts and whatnot thinking that gives them any sort of shot with them.

Literally, just a handful of years ago, the term was "cuck", although I understand breaking away from that term based on where it originated. That could be argued to be more fetish than behavior.

Now males are apparently using it to mock other males for treating possible romantic partners with respect. Meanwhile, females are mocking men with the same term for the same reason. You know, females whose culture is buried in the "It's so hard to find a good man" trope...

And so on...

This is happening in 2021 by the most "woke" part of our society. It'd be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

At this job, I have been sexually harassed almost daily for 15 years now. It's done openly in front of executives, the HR manager, co-workers, etc. Everyone laughs. There is a text group involving at least 5 people who openly discuss me and what I'm wearing. We've covered this before. It's a crazy double standard.

To be honest, I've had two jobs where I wasn't sexually harassed: paper boy (which according to porn should have happened) and when I worked at the greenhouse. Most of the time, I was way open to being harassed
