CNN piece on a guy who was addicted.

Do we think porn addiction should be a thing? I'm thinking yes.

If you are addicted to porn, help is out there.

I think so. I was skeptical at first, like videogaming addiction, but it's real to some people. So there's definitely a need for people to get treatment.

Technically, isn't an addiction something that affects __________ in the brain, and the absence of the whatever causes negative effects?

I think they trigger a dopamine release.

Porn would be one of the easier addictions to address, as far as boundaries. Food and codependency and just a straight up sex addiction are more tricky because those aren't straight up "don't use" like drugs and alcohol and porn.
