Chinese ambassador basically said that China doesn't see any of the former Soviet states as sovereign states.

This has caused a bit of a international kurfuffle. I expect this guy will disappear forever within the next month.

Or is he just trying to push that type of narrative given that's how China is trying to grab land? Like Taiwan.

China lands a space craft successfully after a year in space.

I'm certain none of this tech was stolen from elsewhere...

American given life sentence in China for spying.

Honestly, I don't know shit about this dude or his situation, but based on the limited information this sounds like he might have pissed off his masters in China.

China fines a comedian $2M for a joke about the army.

We can pretend we're morally superior, but certain groups (on both sides of the aisle) would absolutely do this to comedians here if they could.

Yep, thus the "if they could".

However, I have no doubt they won't stop trying.

Microsoft
warned on Wednesday that Chinese state-sponsored hackers had compromised “critical” U.S. cyber infrastructure across numerous industries, with a focus on gathering intelligence.
Again.
The attack is apparently ongoing. In an advisory, Microsoft urged impacted customers to “close or change credentials for all compromised accounts.”

Volt Typhoon is able to infiltrate organizations using a unnamed vulnerability in a popular cybersecurity suite called FortiGuard, Microsoft said. Once the hacking group has gained access to a corporate system, it steals user credentials from the security suite and uses them to try to gain access to other corporate systems.

The state-sponsored hackers aren’t looking to create disruption yet, Microsoft said. Rather, “the threat actor intends to perform espionage and maintain access without being detected for as long as possible.”

Infrastructure in nearly every critical sector has been impacted, Microsoft said, including the communications, transport, and maritime industries. Government organizations were also targeted.

Owner of the Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban, who used to be very outspoken, gets into a Twitter battle with conservative sports talking head Clay Travis. (The exchange can be found below.) It's all about Clay calling out the NBA and it's owners/players for claiming to be about fighting injustice while being in bed with China, one of the NBA's biggest sources of money, and well, we all know China's rap sheet.

Mark isn't a billionaire by mistake and absolutely takes the L publicly, but gets the W by refusing to ever actually address Clay's legit point. He knows the league and it's owners/players are massive hypocrites, but cannot address it. It was only a year or two ago when the Houston Rockets GM tweeted out support for Taiwan and it cost the league tens of millions or more as China cracked down and banned their merchandise and the airing of their games.

So the NBA has spoken and their profits are far more important than what China's oppression and slavery.
