That first song, which was meh (IMHO), all I could think of was this:
It was also a live version. I'd be curious to hear if his growls were machine smoothed for the album? Point being, did he growl to growl or is his voice simply not capable of hitting the notes he wanted.
Second song was not good. Again, IMHO. Didn't care for it at all.
Third song I liked better, although if you had told me it was a Shire of Frodo song, I would have believed you. Also, you said:

I think that Pisces melody was far superior to any of these.

Funny thing about that third song was that it was one of many written for a silly cartoon on adult swim.
