I forgot about Die Antwoord. A rap/electronic group out of South Africa. They were the crazy couple in the movie Chappie.

Anyway, Youtube recommended me a video of theirs one night and I watched it, then another, then another. Then the next day I bought their entire discology.

So, Die Antwoord. Add that to my 2018 music.

A disturbing amount of music I listen to is the same music I listened to last year... and probably the year before that, etc.

I definitely listened to more Interpol + New Pornographers than I did previously (both had new albums), and The Struts sound decent.

I find I yearn for new things. The old favorites on my car USB drive seem to get skipped, lately, trying to find some of the new stuff.

I don't like new music. It's not that it's 'too loud or just noise'. If I don't know it, I look for something I do know. Unless it's Taylor. I'll listen to her songs I don't know.

Taylor Swift?
