Costco has some legit decent prepared food. It's not going to blow your socks off, but it's better than some restaurants.

My wife goes during work hours on a weekday as it's much less crowded. We don't go there on weekends. Way too crowded.

Yeah, wish that were true here. It's just a 24/7 zoo. Or whatever it's hours are.

They tried to build another in the area, but couldn't for zoning or something.

Crazy.

We have two here. Coincidentally, my co-worker just told me his wife had him running an errand there for lunch today.

1. I've been in Costcos in other cities. goddam I wouldn't have a membership if my local ones were like that. The two in Toledo will be crazy for about 2 days around Thanksgiving and xmas, but otherwis just flirt with various levels of "kinda busy."

2. The rotisserie chicken, if done properly, can feed you for a week on $5. Two-Four full servings of white meat, then boil the shit out of the carcass and you have a gallon of broth. You'll have to supplement with cheap rice or beans, but the protein and flavor is there on the cheap.

Competitive markets without collusion.

So, yay Sam's Club!
