The other day tasted hummus for.the first time, a sample at Costco

Bought some.

Ate some last night in a few.scoops of pita chips.

2am, puking.

Coincidence?

I've never puked from hummus... but who knows. Food can always go bad.

Checked the expiration date, September.

So.i dunno.

Throwing it away, though. Experiment over.

You should take pictures of the container. Maybe report it to the FDA in case other people also get sick

Good idea. Though about calling Costco, see if this is a known thing. I don't want to return it on speculation because they'd take it back.

That sounds like food poisoning. Are you sure it was the hummus? What else did you eat?

Hummus, as Catt says, can go bad like anything else. However, just because it was new in your diet doesn't mean it was the culprit.
