My single-mom-by-choice friend would argue these people have it all wrong, and should focus on teaching men not to assault.

That has been one of the most insulting, moronic arguments I've ever heard.
When I hear someone say that out loud, and I have, I always assume they are of sub-average intelligence. I've yet to be proven wrong.
