This was advertised as sort of a "fish out of water" comedy with Tracey Morgan, and it certainly has some elements of that... but it's only about 10% of the show. I was pleasantly surprised to find the guy actually trying to learn from his mistakes, better himself, and deal with dark, past issues, which are still around, haunting him. The last couple episodes are positively dark.
It turned into a real show.
So, thumbs up. Last episode of S1 airing soon, and I'm really wondering what they're going to do with it.
