Gaza is not the sole location of Palestinian people nor is it the largest. Israel's war, while definitely accounting for a lot of collateral damage, does not include a strategy of purposely killing noncombatants. Hamas' tactics of hiding in hospitals, schools, mosques, etc. and basically surrounding themselves with noncombatants isn't "nothing". That behavior should absolutely be factored in when determining the ethics of Israel's actions.
