Can you eat it?
Does it provide nourishment?

Food status confirmed.

Have you considered the possibility that you're not human?

I will grant you that soup comes in many different varieties. Some are light and almost like drinking water. Others are heavy and cling to your ribs. Typically, a soup is a side item or appetizer, but the heavy ones could be meals, the lighter ones cannot. That's as far as I'm willing to compromise on this issue.

There's a local restaurant, J. Alexander's, that has a Chicken Pasta Soup that is heavy and could be a meal. In fact, it has been for my kids at various times.

The Chicken Tortilla Soup is the only reason to ever go to a Max and Erma's.

Sometimes at Panera soup is the only thing my kids will order.

Olive Garden's soup and salad is a go to for me because I don't want 3000 calories in a weak ass "Italian" effort.

Now you're trying to make me Malcolm. :)

Soup is an appetizer at best. Maybe I should have said "is soup a meal"

Most? Yeah, I would concede that. I can cite exceptions though, and thus, I think an accurate statement would be:
"Soup is generally an appetizer, side dish, or co-dish (soup and salad), but heavier soups could be meals."

Everything has exceptions. Apparently, Gordon even slept with a woman once.

I love soup. Fuck you Catt! :D

Best soups around the world.

That list pretty much shreds Catt's entire anti-soup bigoted beliefs, but haters gonna hate.

Of that list, I want to try Menudo, Beef Pho, Borscht (just to say I've had it), Caldo Verde, Groundnut soup, Harira, and Lanzhou beef noodle soup.

The rest I've either had (love gumbo and gazpacho) or don't love seafood, so I'll skip it.

I guess since you removed all your teeth to give better BJs is probably your only option.

Everyone has bigoted beliefs.

Pfft. Only a virgin would think removing all of one's teeth would somehow improve BJ technique.
