All operations suspended.

Doesn't mean it's dead yet, but the outlook isn't great.

Vince desperately needs some other billionaires to get on board.

Also, the NFL needs to seriously consider funding the XFL to stay open. Being in bed with a second league would allow them to control it and be sure it never makes a move to hurt them. Plus, it's a great way station for players coming into or out of the league. Additionally, it can be used as a testing ground for new tech, broadcasting ideas, and so on.

I would think the NFL should invest, although the lack of a lower league doesn't seem to be hurting them much. I guess there's the CFL, kinda.

Jake Bates just punched his ticket to the NFL on the first day on the UFL.

He kicked a 64 yarder with room to spare to win the game for Michigan.

The best part is they iced him with a TO, and he kicked a practice, which was also good.

It was his first in game FG attempt since high school.
