Does anyone have a recent PC Gamer? If so, do they still spec out low/medium/high end gaming PCs?

If so, can you take a pic of that page and post it here, please?

Here's a recent one.

A google search may turn up something fresher.

Last time I google searched it turned up squat, but around that time they were trying to sell their stand-alone "system builder guide," so maybe they were scrubbing all the free stuff that they had available.

I'm going for mid-mid range.

I found this site to be very helpful while I was picking my components.

After you get your specs together, check with Cybertron and see how your costs would compare to them. I bought one of their boxes and they're very reasonable. A couple of reviewers said that they usually built their own but couldn't for the price. Also, the only software loaded on the box other than Windows was the Chrome browser. So the "no bloatware" thing was nice.

That's standard for custom builders.

Good to know. This was the first pre-built non-brandname I'd bought.

I should say standard for the good ones and depending on who you are as a customer.

Dell, for example, will load up a consumer model with software, but for business customers they don't touch them.

I pretty much went with this loadout:

http://www.pcgamer.com/best-gaming-pc/

1. Downgraded the GPU to a 1060, I wanted to keep the price under $1k.
2. Reusing my old case.
3. Reusing my old power supply.

$950 on amazon. I believe there are some mail-in rebates.

M2s are a flavor of SSD, yes. But you can just use normal SATA drives on a desktop.

Where does an M2 plug in?

An M2 connector, duh.

It's complicated.

I guess I should try to figure out if the mobo in that system PC Gamer speced out is compatible with that M2 SSD.

Apparently not only does that mobo have the ports, there's an entire heatsink-system dedicated to keeping that card cool. neat.

Ok, so fucktarded question:

All I am waiting on now is the CPU fan, and I can replace my current desktop. I am currently DLing Win10 install media to a flash drive.

I've never installed an OS from a flash drive before. My fucktarded question is.... how do I do it....is there a "removable media" option in the boot sequence of the BIOS, or something? Again, I've never paid attention to any of those settings before.

BIOS, yes, I believe. I've never done it either.
