Coming soon.

$35 a month for all those channels, including the "Big 5" networks?

Live in 5 cities now. I'm ready for it. Already canceled my Sling TV again in hopes this comes out soon.

I think this might be the thing that gets me to jump off cable finally.

Between this, Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon I'd still be paying way less than what we pay now.

I like the DVR and multiple-streams aspects. Sling can only do 1 stream with the version I had, and it froze too damned often.

Just came into our area, but I already signed up for 2 months of Sling. Will check it out in November.

Canceled Sling, but it has 1 more week before it's out. Will try this out when that happens.

I just realized I saw this advertised somewhere today.

Time to do some research...

Signed up for the 1 week trial cuz UNC is playing tonight on ESPNU

They don't have an app for the Fire TV cuz Google + Amazon are being babies about each other's stuff. So I'm not sure how to actually watch it. The good news is that if you pay for a month, they'll give you a free Chromecast, but I haven't paid yet.

Well, I loaded the game up on my laptop, then selected the option to cast it to my TV using my "1st generation Chromecast"... there was a large delay, and a warning that it could be slow. The video quality is not ideal. It's like a lower bitrate-HD.

It has spread to numerous cities. When it gets here I might be switching.

I used it again to watch ESPN last night. Nicely, it lets me watch ESPN on ESPN, whereas SlingTV forced me to use their app.

Unlike Sling TV, Youtube TV allows for pausing + fast forward/rewind on ESPN.

Interesting. We get ABC + NBC local affiliates via YouTube TV, but not FOX + CBS. Kinda ok since we get those OTA.

I thought all the major networks were included in the package?

It says that, but it apparently varies by network. FOX + CBS On-Demand are included, but not live TV.

It just occurred to me that I won't see new episodes of Rick and Morty...legally.

That show's so damn good I actually paused.

Well, rumors are it won't be back until 2019, so don't make that your defining issue.

I don't even know what channel anything is on these days. I watch all pre-recorded stuff on Plex, and then sports or occasional live something on Youtube.TV, but it assuages my guilt by paying for it.
